Returns and refunds
What can be returned, in what condition, and how refunds work.

Demonstration policy. This store is a demonstration with fictional products and sandbox payments. The policy below shows how a real shop would word it; it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
Physical products
Returnable within 7 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging.
Not returnable: opened static-sensitive components (bare ICs, sensors sold loose), lithium battery packs once the seal is broken, and any item damaged by incorrect wiring or reverse polarity.
A dead-on-arrival item is different: report it within 48 hours with a photo or short video and we replace it or refund it in full, including delivery.
Digital products
Because access is immediate, digital products are refundable only where the file is faulty, materially different from its description, or you have not downloaded it. Download history is recorded and is what we check.
Licences
Refundable while unrevealed. Once a key has been revealed it is treated as used and is not refundable, because we cannot recover it.
Memberships
Cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro-rate a partial month unless the platform was unavailable for an extended period.
Services
Before work starts: full refund. After work starts: we refund the portion not yet delivered, assessed against the milestones in your accepted quote. Deposits on materials already purchased for your build are not refundable.
Workshops
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the session. After that the seat is non-refundable but you may transfer it to someone else — tell us the name. If we cancel a session, you are refunded in full.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method where the provider supports it. Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded as store credit or bank transfer, whichever you prefer. Processing takes 3–10 business days depending on the provider.
A refund never exceeds what is still refundable on the order — partial refunds are tracked per line item.
In the demo
Refunds in the demo are simulated: the refund record, the order timeline and the ledger all change exactly as they would, but no money moves because none was taken.
