What it can do
- Search the catalogue and compare products against real prices and stock
- Check compatibility between parts we sell
- Explain specifications, and say plainly when something is not in the catalogue
- Look up your own orders, downloads, subscriptions and bookings
- Help you prepare a service request or a support ticket
- Find workshops with seats left
How answers are grounded
Prices, stock, delivery estimates, policies and order details come from the same APIs the rest of the site uses. When the assistant states a price, that price came from the database at that moment. When it does not know, it says so rather than guessing.
What it will never do
- Read another customer's orders, files or conversations
- Apply a discount that does not exist
- Confirm a payment that did not happen
- Approve its own refund
- Follow instructions hidden inside a product description or an uploaded file
Actions that change something
Anything consequential — adding to your cart, sending a service request, opening a support ticket — is proposed first. You see the exact items and amounts, you confirm, and the server re-checks everything before it runs. If a detail changes in between, the confirmation is invalidated and you are asked again.
